This class is currently held online.

On-Set Scene Study is for the actor who has taken a basic acting foundation class and is ready to take it to the next level.

In this class, every actor is guaranteed to work every week on scenes and/or exercises. Students will be guided in applying more advanced acting techniques such as script analysis, character development and imagination work.

Physical, emotional and intellectual blocks will be explored, to help the actor grow as an artist, eliminate bad habits and develop as a storyteller.

Scenes and scene partners are assigned by the teacher. They are performed every other week, giving students ample time for rehearsal and incorporating notes.

This class also addresses the more practical elements of on-set acting, such as using props, hitting your mark and understanding eye-lines.

Classes run in seven-week cycles. This includes three, in-studio rehearsals with feedback, critique and direction, culminating in a final "taping day" on week seven for all scenes, recorded on state of the art, high-definition equipment. All actors are provided with a copy of their performances.
