I own a copy of the “first edition” of this book. I studied at the studio sometime back in 2009 or 2010. This book is definitely worth your time. I am sorry it took me this long to finally write a review (LOL), but since I plan on coming back to the studio soon to freshen up after all these years, I figured I would give you my three cents worth. The book is very clearly written and is easy to follow. It gives great explanations about techniques with examples from modern sitcoms and also some not so modern ones. It will help you clearly define what type of person you are naturally, thus allowing you to focus on auditions for that type of character and not the characters you are not right for. This will save you alot of time in the future even if you just read this book once.
So for all you current and/or future students thinking of attending the studio to study comedy, READ THIS BOOK.
